Hollie
Hollie is an American English teacher with over 10 years experience teaching both locally and internationally. After finishing her degree in International studies and the Japanese language she taught English in Japan to both adults and children.
Hollie's Story
Since moving to Australia in 2015 she has worked in various ELICOS/RTO institutions with students from all over the world. Though the majority of her experience has been in a classroom, she has worked with students in small groups and individually as well. She has mentored students outside the classroom for professional interviews, examinations, University level academic writing, and subject-specific curriculums.
Hollie’s approach focuses on her role as a facilitator where she provides guidance, support, and advice to students as they together navigate through new and/or complex material. She focuses on empowering the student and fostering a sense of autonomy in their learning process.
